Our lives have a lot of overlap.

Do you know Ben got injured at the end of the season and wasn't able to compete in the state meet. It was a disappointment for sure, but he was still out there encouraging all the other runners to reach their best. Such an inspiration that the race isn't just about me, but how I can be a blessing to my teammates, even when I'm taken out of the race I want to be running.

Appreciate your comments and your encouragement along the way!Jodiehttp://jodiejournal.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8405148269097016922.post-45704179913098466742015-11-22T14:20:25.839-07:002015-11-22T14:20:25.839-07:00Thanks for reading and commenting, Davis Family. Cross country - and running in general - can be such an individual sport - and yet it's still a team sport. or can be, if we'll remember the team and not just focus on ourselves.

"How can we, who have been undeservedly blessed, use our lives to bless those around us?"

going to try to focus on that today. Let it, let him, so seep into the crusty cracks of your life that everything softens.
